Danielle Barron has been writing on a wide range of health and medical topics since 2006. An experienced journalist, editor and broadcaster, she combines a strong scientific background with a talent for making complex healthcare issues accessible to diverse audiences. Danielle graduated with an honours degree in Pharmacology from University College Dublin in 2005 and also holds an MSc in Science Communication from Dublin City University. Over the course of her career, she has written extensively on healthcare policy, medical innovation, public health, pharmaceuticals and patient care. Her work has appeared in all major Irish print titles, including The Irish Times, Irish Independent, Sunday Times Ireland and the Business Post. Danielle is also a regular contributor to Irish broadcast media and is frequently invited to provide expert commentary and analysis on healthcare-related issues for RTÉ Radio 1, Newstalk and Today FM.
